The St. Petersburg Stock Exchange has suspended its activities, including trading, due to a technical failure. This was reported by the press service of the trading platform.
Thus, the work of the St. Petersburg stock exchange was suspended at 19:00 Moscow time.
“The reasons for the technical failure are unknown, they are being investigated. The time for the resumption of organized trading in securities will be announced later ,” the statement said.
The St. Petersburg Stock Exchange planned to start trading on Saturdays and Sundays from February 5th. It is expected that they will be held from 10:00 to 19:00. They will present Russian shares and foreign securities included in the SPB100 index.
