“Niva” is a Soviet and Russian off-road vehicle – a small-class SUV with a load-bearing body and permanent all-wheel drive. Serially produced since April 5, 1977. Oddly enough, but in Europe this car is also popular because of its driving characteristics and price.
So, the German company Zubr Team decided to modify the Russian car, making it even more passable. However, after such tuning, Lada Niva turned out to be more expensive than the new Ford Bronco or Jeep Wrangler, according to motor.ru.
The modified Niva was called Monster, it was equipped with 16-inch wheels with Hankook Dynapro off-road tires, wheel arch linings, additional sills and a power bumper. You can also see a custom grille, air intake linings on the hood and rear pillars, a snorkel and dual exhaust pipes.
Tuning studio specialists upgraded the suspension, increased ground clearance by 150 millimeters, and installed additional engine crankcase protection. At the same time, the 82-horsepower 1.7-liter engine, 5-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive system remained original. The cost of such a machine was 44 thousand euros.
